Introduction to the programme

It will be a six months certificate course on competition law and one year diploma course on competition law divided into one semester for certificate course and two semesters for one year diploma course which will be unique in both methodology and its content as per new education policy. The program will be blended one that will offer a real time learning exposure on competition laws both online and offline platform. The participants will be able to learn the evolution and the efficiency of competition laws in India and some other developed countries, anti-competition practices and the control of abuse of dominant position, regulations and the functioning of the Competition Commission of India. The participants will also learn about the other allied fields of law with relation to competition laws.

 Aim of the programme:

The course aims to provide an extensive and career-oriented course on Competition Law. The course in terms of importance, versatility and practicality incorporates almost all-important doctrines and concepts of Competition Law. The course also focuses upon the national and international principles of Competition Law regime in the most detailed and systematic manner for providing crystal-clear knowledge to the aspirants. Learners will have tremendous opportunity to understand the significant and most practical concepts and challenges in the field of Competition Law in India including the crux of landmark judgments. The prime concern is to offer a cutting-edge course on Competition Law specially designed for legal and non-legal aspirants.

Programme learning outcome

The participants will understand the principles of competition law and economics from top experts. Formulate business strategies in compliance with competition law  and Explore the policy implications and interface between competition law and other laws.
